Mason Hall is the first academic building established at the University of Michigan. It consists of 4 separate halls; Mason Hall, Tisch Hall, Angell Hall, and Haven Hall. It is filled with classrooms, department offices, lecture halls, study spaces and more features that make this building one of the most important buildings on campus. It is expected that almost every undergraduate at the University of Michigan has at least one classroom in the Mason/Haven/Angell/Tisch building. Although most students have at least one class in the building, it is notoriously one of the most confusing buildings on campus.

The confusion of Mason Hall makes it quite the intimidating place and could be especially difficult to navigate for people with disabilities. In order to make the building less intimidating and confusing, we have put together an accessibility map. This map has the floor plans of each building along with information on the accessibility of the spaces within the building. The accessibility features on the map include physical accessibility along with sensory information on the spaces. The maps linked below are simplified, high contrast images with descriptions about the accessibility of spaces that students frequently use.
